Swan Song is a perfect showcase for the sheer iconicity and star power of Udo Kier, because even though he's not at the top of his game here (and hamstrung by wooden writing and mostly unremarkable direction), he still acts and charismas everybody else off the screen. Individual moments that work notwithstanding, both Kier and Pat Pitsenbarger deserve better.
