This movie may have had an unfair advantage with me because tulpas are the only creepypasta trope that ever made a real impression on me (I was 22 and on Reddit, sue me). Very impressed by the slow, deliberate build-up, the unconventional approach to evoking dread, the use of nihilist and deconstructionist thought to horrific ends, and Prior's confidence to end the movie by somehow explaining everything and nothing at all. In short, I really love all the cosmic paranoia – which is why the movie, to me, is at its weakest whenever it leans too far into Rosemary's Baby/Hereditary territory and tries too hard to make sense of its own mythology. Still, I'm intrigued enough to want to revisit it soon!
