  This was really good but my girlfriend had to explain it to me and I had to think about it for a while to for me to really get what was going on. Immensely well acted and I think this was an amazing way to depict a fantasy dreamworld. This is some shit adam curtis would talk about if it was real

  I genuinely have no idea what to make of this one. I normally love maximalist, crazy editing but here it feels like it doesn't serve any purpose because it still ends up being attached to an intolerably long morality play story. There could have been something here but it just doesn't want to commit to its own insanity. Still loved a lot of parts of it regardless though, and I could see myself giving a higher score on a second watch. At the very least I hope the financial success of this enables more people to make insanely edited movies
