  Dark Water 2002

  This was more heartbreaking than it was scary. However there was an insanely eerie atmosphere throughout the film. 
  Part of it comes from the movie itself, and another large part of it comes from the strange parallels to the Elisa Lam case. I was repeatedly reminded of what happened at the Cecil Hotel 11 years after this movie was released. 
  Just have a yucky feeling.

  I had no clue this was gonna go where it did, but tbh it works and I’m a fan.
  This film relied solely on the story and visuals to keep people engaged because there was literally three (3) lines of dialogue. 
  Bold move, but they pulled it off.
