Ryan Gosling can pull comedy off very well, and he has great chemistry with Russell Crowe. The late 70's are portrayed accurately throughout, using music, clothes, cars, and attitudes to perfection. A little nitpick for me is the bad guy or villain in this movie is really underdeveloped and not getting enough story but maybe its because the movie wanted to keep our eye only to the main leads, at the end of the day this movie is worth watching
