You Were Never Really Here 2017
the first of ramsay's films that has really clicked with me; this is a harrowing, emotional assault of a film. The sound design is stunning, and along with jonny greenwood's score, I can't think of a feature that does a better job at using sound to emerse the spectator into the main character's world.
one of my new favourites.
