Letterboxd — Your life in film

I was anticipating another fever dream with this movie. It is an A24 horror movie after all and the trailer for this film looked disturbing in the best way possible. It was very creepy and atmospheric and I couldn’t wait to be terrorized by more messed up imagery courtesy of A24. 

Just when you think you’ve seen it all from A24, they go ahead and deliver something that only psychopaths could dream of. Jessie Buckley plays our tormented main character…

I guess im apart of the Drive My Car bandwagon when it comes to comparing his (Hamaguchi) two films of 2021. Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy is very well executed, yet not as powerful as his other film. These 3 stories were strange in their overall connection , and I really wanted more out of it.
