Alex Kolpan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm not really sure I can express in words how incredible Annihilation is. Although it's not on that level of perfect uniform structure that something like Stalker is on, it definitely bares resemblance in terms of themes and languid pacing. It also flirts with creature/horror elements akin to Alien or The Thing without ever losing it's vision. It's a very strange mix of influences, but it pays off gloriously. By the third act I was essentially having an out of body experience. Can't remember the last time I experienced a mainstream movie that was this spiritual enlightening in addition to being a piece of work that seems to have infinite interpretations.
See this on the big screen, por favor.
