Alex Kolpan’s review published on Letterboxd:
“Don’t pick a fight with me, you won’t come out alive. I’ll go right through you and you’ll end up on the floor. Understood?”
*Remains paralyzed for 130 minutes*
Second viewing and I can't pick out a single flaw in this movie. Haven't been able to stop thinking about it either. PTA manages to weave together a romance, comedy, drama, ghost story, psychosexual/psychological art film, and a period piece while retaining a perfectly crafted dreamlike and painterly tone. Can't remember the last time a movie made me feel like I was going to spontaneously combust.
