Pretty nice play based on a sentence or two from Freud and indeed a sitcom, at least, formally. My guess, he wanted to do a John Waters movie that would radically differ from what John Waters does. So it had to differ somewhere in the depths. So Freud. Calculations, they calculate everything, they have shot per shot scripts directors have..
