Alex Small’s review published on Letterboxd:
I worked with developmentally delayed adults for six years so I expected Hollywood to get this all wrong. I was pleasantly suprised to find the characters with intellectual disabilities to be three dimensional. Bobby Farrely clearly understood the joys and stuggles that come along with working with someone with, for example, down syndrome.
While I can't praise the movie enough for getting that right, the talented cast couldn't quite elevate yet another rehash of The Mighty Ducks enough for me to love the movie. I do respect it, though.
