Alex Secker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Charlie Steeds' stuff is always impressive, given they look great and are done for a small budget. Vampire Virus is no different. Drenched in neon, it's like a sort of vampire noir, even the score has an 80s infused jazz feel. Stylish as hell.
It's also a pretty fun ride, although some the acting is a little stunted, this doesn't detract from the movie. A somewhat on the nose parallel to LGBT+ experiences gives the movie some weight, but really this is about crazy, stylish vampire fun, and on that it more than delivers.
