Alicecolmanetti’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tbh this is the movie of the year, we must admit that! Denis made a giant production here, and has been a long time that I didn’t enjoy a distopic film as much as I did watching this.
At first he introduces the story, for those who didn’t read the book (same as me), and then he start to show the conflicts that exists, sometimes subtle but not to much, so everybody can understand which path the chatacter is taken.
Villenueve really have his own way to work, I knew that he wouldn’t disapoint producing Dune based on Arrival. I’m very excited to see Part Two, and his past movies.
