Alicia Malone’s review published on Letterboxd:
It may sound strange that a zombie comedy made me miss Australia... but that’s what happened here. Aussies know Abe Forsythe as an actor, and he’s now grown into a wonderful writer and director. With this film, he also gets a wonderful Australian/American cast together to have a bloody good time. Alexander England plays a hopeless, selfish slacker who agrees to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class on their excursion to a theme park... mainly to get close to their teacher, played by Lupita Nyong’o. But unfortunately they end up in the middle of a zombie outbreak, also with a children’s TV entertainer, played by an insane Josh Gad. Plenty of laughs and fun zombie moments. A really wonderful little comedy!
