Swingers 1996
A movie following annoying men trying too hard (and too offensively) to pick up women shouldnβt holdup nowadays. Luckily there is a lot of heart in this, and the dialogue is still effectively hilarious. It seems to benefit from the Michael Scott effect - when men can be stupidly offensive yet so clueless and unaware of their actions that you end up rooting for them anyway. Itβs not Money for me. But itβs an interesting and entertaining time capsule in a very specific time in American culture.
