Allison M.’s review published on Letterboxd:
I had heard Rihanna didn't sing in this. What I was not fully prepared for was a film that was under one hour long. Timewise, that is so convenient. Storywise, it didn't explore the characters as much as it could have. It's okay, though. Donald Glover serenades Rihanna with his unbuttoned shirt shaking it along the beach while other people are present (and singing background vocals for him). I thought it was kind of weird, but it works, so whatever. It passes the time; it's not a masterpiece, nor is it that bad.
