British people are so fucking hilarious on accident
Very good and wonderfully edited documentary when it was about the actual subject, but like….extremely eyeroll inducing whenever Kevin talked about his own experience sorry lmao this guy seems insufferable.
Alex Lasarenko deserved better than to become the backseat subject in a documentary that’s supposed to be about him. Especially to the documentarian lamenting about his imposter syndrome or how he thinks people don’t take him seriously for posting on youtube. Unsurprisingly, this move makes me take Kevin as a documentarian far less seriously than him posting on youtube does.
As someone who has done album cover design and is trying to make a career out of pairing music and graphic design in a similar way to how Hipgnosis did, I’m so so glad I found this documentary. Going behind the creative process of all these iconic covers is so insightful and they serve as great creative case studies. Given the importance this topic holds in my heart, its very hard to give an objective review but I absolutely loved…
