LITERALLY WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK???????
I’ve never felt so genuinely unsettled after leaving a theatre before, and I’m so HAPPY. Obviously a lot of this movie rides on Toni Collette’s performance, and this role was so emotionally draining and difficult that I can’t even think of another one that comes close to competing with it. It’s her most impressive performance to date. It’s absolutely UNREAL. FUCK. I can go on and on.
Also Ann Dowd was PHENOMENAL. AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. And the movie was also so funny. I was cracking up whenever I wasn’t screaming.
I actually got to talk to Toni after and tell her how much she has impacted my life. She was so incredibly gracious and sweet. She’s gorgeous and talented and I’m so happy I could finally thank her for the incredibly positive force she’s been for me the past 5 years. <3 There’s a picture of us here
