Midsommar is an incredibly thought out film; both thematically and visually. There's a lot you miss on the first viewing. Wow. What an emotional, beautifully shot, powerfully acted film. Mike Flanagan once again crafted an amazing film, and one certainly deserving of the mantle of 'The Shining.' A perfect balance of King, Kubrick and Flanagan!
