This was way better than I expected it to be? It's a bit boring and the characters make super dumb decisions, but they're all relatively likeable. The acting isn't horrible either!
That being said, the scares aren't the best, I'll probably forget it in a week and it pales in comparison to Mike Flanagan's brilliant sequel, which I've realised is actually super respectful to this original film?!?

In about a decade, some teen will stumble across this film and decide its their personal favourite of the franchise and wonder why its "so underrated."
In the end its a slasher movie, backed with laughable dialogue, insane kills and decisions so stupid you'll be yelling at the screen for them to "STOP you idiot... no please don't- ah well thats what you get-."
I coudn't stop smiling.
PS: Judy Greer's a badass.
