I wouldn't say there's much of a story, but I really enjoyed this. It's just a fun short, with great chemistry between the characters, who are robots learning about humanity. There's both this innocence and maturity about it, as the robots are more advanced than humans, but struggle to understand the little joys of humans, such as basketball. In a way, this a much more human interpretation of robots taking over the world. If AI has advanced far enough, they're not going to be pure evil, they're going to have personalities and vacations and fun.
As much as I love my cats, it makes total sense for them to ultimately take over the world.
