"I fuck whomever."
This movie starts out like a version of Ferris Bueller's Day Off about a horny, angry French woman, but the stylistic flare mellows out pretty soon after. It explores the same themes Breillat generally finds interest in, gendered differences in sex and sexual compromise, within a fairly compelling framework. There's a lack of motivation for some of the action and the emotional connections the character forms (or doesn't), but it still had some engaging dialogue and subject matter. Far from Breillat's best, but I'd listen to her characters talk for ages. My weird French grandma.
