I run away with nowhere to go.”
It walks a very familiar, almost cliched-path, but it does it so well. Watching this alone in my car gave me the ability to exclaim “I love when people are NICE” during several scenes. So much genuine kindness and empathy on display here, even if some of the beats are rushed. It’s a sweet one that’s better than you’d expect, and with some surprisingly high stakes to keep it moving.
As you’d hope with any movie like this, the main song will be stuck in your head all day tomorrow.
