Nope 2022
NOPE is filled with intriguing concepts & metaphors from the brilliant mind of Jordan Peele, but they don’t come together to create a film as fulfilling as his previous two. Characters needed more development as they’re shortchanged for spectacle. Horrifyingly creative sound work though with a breathtaking score.

Cha Cha Real Smooth 2022
It's incredibly important for media like this to exist for young people that are new to love's pain. We need more movies that portray love in a realistic sense. Good movie.

Jurassic Park 1993
Desperately needed Dominion out of my head, and like, dude... the reason this will own for all eternity is simply because it had a few clear, clever, fun ideas and gave each one of them everything they needed, and spaced it all out in solid five-minute sequences back to back.

Crimes of the Future 2022
A film more concerned with posing interesting questions than answering them (or even having much of a plot). Crimes of the Future skillfully showcases Cronenberg’s unique intersection of philosophy, disturbing imagery, and eroticism, but offers little for people who are not already converts.
This is a film that helps to build an oeuvre, but is merely ”acceptable” as a centerpiece.

Sometimes, I have a hard time really enjoying things that everyone else loves.
