Samuli’s review published on Letterboxd:
What can I even say? This is the movie that started it all for me, the movie I have seen without any hyperbole at least a hundred times. It is... like a part of me. Mulholland Drive is why I always gravitate to female-led films, films with dark sexuality. “Psychosexual melodramas”, as a certain famous drag queen would say.
Naomi Watts gives a performance of a fucking lifetime. My god she just... knocks it right out of the park. So many times I’ve seen this and still I am just gobsmacked at the audition scene. This is the girl.
