    Ann Lu has a beautiful eye for the camera. Shooting Erosion in an odd aspect ratio, washed out colors and almost entirely in a world that feels dark and gray. It kinda works but unfortunately the script is so dull.

    The premise is intriguing but the movie spends no time making us like any potential couple. They all seem bad for each other, maybe that’s the point but it’s so boring that way.

    A twisted little low budget thriller with solid acting throughout. While the editing and clear padding of the runtime with various unnecessarily lengthy shots definitely slows the movie down outside of that it’s a pretty tight suspense film with little fluff or wasted plot lines.

    This is David Leitch’s “Lucky Number Slevin.” And even a touch of “Hard Ticket to Hawaii.” A slick, hyper violent yet also hyper earnest crime comedy that weaves and juggles an impressive amount of characters.
