Watched this mainly to see what all of the hullabaloo was about. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I think they really nailed what they set out to do. There is a lot of low brow, absurdist, and toilet humor -- but then I'm a literal child so I have zero qualms with those things. It's also very informative -- it's a thorough dressing down of just how ridiculous North Korea is, and teaches people a lot of things had they not read articles or watched the VICE documentaries. There's a very good reason NK didn't want the film to air, and it's not just because they killed Kim in it. The fact that this became an international incident really underscores the displayed absurdity of NK in the movie and really does a great job of selling the movie.
