  This movie captured the true essence of the discursive framework of reality like no other. The camerawork just captivates you. Combine that with the score and it almost puts you in a state of trance. I seriously wonder how it isn't more often replicated. Also, I love how Kurosawa keeps on shitting on the fragility of the human moral code. Felt really similar to Harakiri in that regard! On to more Kurosawa

  I just love how weird this movie felt the entire time, that's exactly what I hoped for when I picked this movie. Every time Frank Booth breathed into his inhaler and forced himself into Dorothy Vallens, celebrating her like a mother figure and degrading her at the same time, Sigmund Freud rose out of his grave to give Lynch a standing ovation.
