    There's one quote from Peter Jackson that I kept thinking about over the 14 separate sittings it took for me to watch this, "At that point your starting to commit a crime against rock n' roll history if you start trimming any more out."     I respect the filmmakers for being mean to their characters but it feels like they made both significantly worse. Jesse is so patronizing and everything hurtful is followed by a sexual advance. Celine comes off as superficial and resentful. These are the flaws they choose to give them but I would hope two people who are so good at communicating and listening to each other would be past this.
