  The classics are always there for ya. Rocky made me feel so good tonight, and I am not going to bother finding faults with it. There's a sincerity here that I think I can credit to Stallone's personality, something that shines in his writing and his performance. It's just so gosh darn cute, and I can't help but see the genuineness of it all. Nothing about Rocky feels forced, yknow?

  I like being able to feel the integrity of the filmmaker shine through when I watch a thoroughly political film like this, and Jai Bhim definitely comes off as very honest and very angry. It is not a subtle film, I feel as though it is more about what it represents than how it is told, given that it is told is in that familiar hero-saves-the-day format, which I didn't think suited the themes one bit.
