there's something there, like a commentary about people who are religious/holier than thou that repressed themselves sexually in an extreme way to the point it becomes violent, the whole monologue of them not being able to stomach that these people turn them on, damned them, and yet they can't look away. however, i think the movie is just ok, you can't really fit all the gore, suspense and thrill in an hour and a half film where things only escalate in the last 30 minutes or so.
