Anchor Rancor’s review published on Letterboxd:
Freddy Krueger has now gone full camp, and honestly I'm into it. Dream sequences filled with the corniest jokes, creative setups, and some pretty substantial body horror here and there. Unfortunately, this turns out to be 5 minute spurts of really cool stuff sandwiched between borderline worthless normal movie stuff. New characters aren't really interesting, and the returning ones you actually liked are wasted. Dream sequences keep this from being a total loss, but only just. Robert Englund is keeping this franchise above water.
Stay for the Freddy Rap
