Film #8 of Hoop-Tober 2015
"I wanna be in the sequel"
Scream, a horror classic I've let slip through the cracks (like a lot of the films on my hoop-tober list). Expertly crafted by the late Wes Craven, we get a slasher like no other. Every shot is nice and looks incredible.
I think a lot of this movies success comes from how believable it is. A killer wearing a silly $2 costume when it all comes together at the end it just makes more sense. Acting was pretty good too.
Lots of small elements that make a good slasher have come together here to make a great one. Lets hope the sequels hold up!
