"Harold, everyone has the right to make an ass out of themselves. You just can't let the world judge you too much.".
I didn't love this as much as I was expecting to, but I still loved it a whole lot.
Maude is such a great character. I hope I can be half as awesome as her when I get to that age (but while still being like me rather than exactly like her).
It's not a laugh out loud, fall off your seat kind of comedy, but the humour appealed to me very much. I also love a comedy that can make me cry as much as it makes me laugh or amuses me.
This is a really lovely film. I can see myself falling more and more in love with it on future watches.
The soundtrack by Cat Stevens is great, too.
