Andreas Richardson’s review published on Letterboxd:
You Only Live Twice, unlike several other Bond films (::ahem:: Die Another Day ::ahem::), manages to strike a decent balance between drama and entertainment value. It mixes up fighting ninjas, girls, clever plot twists, armies of minions, scheming industrialists, gangsters, secretive villains and, of course, Bond in a figurative blender to create an adrenalin-fueled race to save the world against all odds. Little Nellie, Bond's personal autogyro stuffed with weapons is particularly special, starring alongside Bond in the aerial chase scene immortalised on the film's poster. This film is one of the more entertaining and light-hearted Bond movies, with a flowing title song to match.
