    MY HONEST OPINION

I remember I was really excited when I first heard about this film being announced, especially since Ana de Armas was going to take the role of Marilyn. At that time, I couldn't even imagine her playing Marilyn. When I saw the first images of her for the film, I was honestly shocked at the resemblance. It's like if Ana had actually summoned Marilyn Monroe's spirit to take over her body. It's just impressive how she embodies…

"This time, the monsters are real."

Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island is the film that broke the formula, and revolutionised a franchise that was becoming stale. As much as I treasure the classic Scooby-Doo show, we have to admit that it is quite formulaic and predictable. Nothing supernatural actually happens, everything has a rational explanation. It's always the same in almost every single episode. The gang goes to a new place where there's some kind of monster, ghost, demon or evil…

After watching this film, I decided to re-watch its predecessors, and I somewhat understand why this is being regarded as the best one in the series yet, even though it did not quite meet my expectations. I actually enjoyed Murder on the Orient Express a lot more now that I've re-watched it. I still have my issues with the way the story is delivered, but as a whole, I thought it was a pretty decent murder mystery film. I can…

    Sanctuary

It's definitely not for everybody, but this is just my cup of tea. It may not be perfect, but it kept me uncomfortable at times, anxious, and intrigued during all its runtime, thanks to the skillful direction, the dynamic camerawork, the effective use of its claustrophobic location, the exquisite score and the committed performances. Sanctuary is an absorbing, anxiety-inducing, disorienting, sexy and smart film that explores the dynamics of power between a very unusual couple: a dominatrix and her client.

    Me after watching this film:
I sincerely hope I never have kids.

This film got me off guard. I never expected it to make me feel so uneasy.

This film is carried the most by its incredibly talented ensemble of young actors/ actresses. I was genuinely terrified of these kids.

It's beautifully shot, atmospheric and chilling. It creates lots of tension and suspense. The sound design is magnificent. The premise is intriguing. The setting is used to enhance these dark…

This was a huge surprise. The Batman exceeded my expectations.

There's so much to appreciate here; the cinematography, the score, the sound design, the editing, the pacing, the direction, the performances. This film looks amazing, and it's reminiscent of films like Seven (1995) and Saw (2004). This is more like a mystery thriller, engrossing from beginning to end. It's almost three hours long, but it keeps you always intrigued, I was never bored.

As I said, this film revolves around…
