    BEST OF 2021

This is one of the most unique film experiences I've had in a very long time. It was like a sensory experience. It's such an entrancing and mysterious journey, worth getting into. Thought-provoking, intriguing, understated, enigmatic and profound. I was immediately drawn to its sonic experimentation.

This is really a strange film, not only because of its poetic, psychological and metaphysical nature or supernatural undertones, but also because of its use of sound and its enhancement of…

First off, I'd like to point out three relevant aspects from this film.

-Sean Penn laughs exactly like Precious Pupp.

-Little Gary is an actual creep.

-If your penis is circumcised, "THEN YOU ARE A FUCKING JEW!"

This movie really did make me smile and crack up a couple of times! Most of the humour was on point. However, It was a bit disappointing. Maybe, I set my expectations too high.

    I found the film a bit disjointed. I didn't…

    The Oak Room

Based on the one-act play from Peter Genoway, The Oak Room is an unsettling, intriguing and overall effective slow-burn thriller that succeeds in creating a dreadful and chilling atmosphere, and boasts strong performances and a brilliantly composed score that helps set the mood. Skillfully directed and mostly well constructed.

It's fascinating how the central story of the film gradually unfolds through simple yet well conceived stories told by these two characters. One of those films about the power of storytelling…

-What's the difference between parsley and pussy?
    - No one eats parsley

Wow, it seems like someone invented comedy πŸ™„πŸ˜’

My Friend Dahmer is the story of American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer as a high school teenager in the 70's. The story takes place before he turned into the so-called "Milwaukee Cannibal" who murdered, raped, dismembered and even consumed as food seventeen young men between 1978 and 1991. The true life story this film is based on is truly disturbing…

I was really excited to watch this film, and it managed to pleasantly surprise me and disapppoint me in equal meassure.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett got very creative with the kills, which are amazing. Likewise, the sound design is impeccable and it does a good job at building suspense. The cast is great too. It was cool seeing Sidney, Gale and Dewey, but they are underutilised here, which is a shame. And, Sam is honestly not an interesting leading…

    Don't Look Up

This is the Movie 43 of 2021.

Just a bunch of big names.

Unfunny, uncreative, stupid, shallow and boring. It felt like a 6-hour movie and, it was plain irritating.

What's up with the editing? It was getting on my nerves.

But, even more worrying... what's up with the writing?

Yeah, we call him Teddy because he ain't no teddy bear.

    I'm gooder than good.

Not even Ariana's song is good :(
