Ein Mann, eine Baustelle, ein Dixi-Klo - und die Scheiße steht ihm bis zum Hals. "Ach du Scheiße!" ist ein deutscher Dark-Comedy-Genrefilm voller Blut, Kot und Humor. Protagonist Frank sitzt in einem Dixi fest. Der Arm aufgespießt, das Handy liegt in der Jauche. Und er hat keine Ahnung wie er in diese Lage kam, sondern nur, dass in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Sprengung stattfinden soll. Und die Uhr tickt.

Nach und nach setzt sich die Geschichte zusammen. Hergeleitet durch kleine Details und Gegenstände, die Franks Erinnerungen zurückbringen. Und damit bildet sich eine verrückte, absurde, fiese und lustige Kulisse, während man aber stets alles nur aus dem Inneres des Klos mitbekommt. Trotz der albern klingenden Prämisse, ist der Film extrem hochwertig inszeniert, produziert und geschossen. Der Aufwand scheint fast übertrieben groß zu sein. Hauptdarsteller Thomas Niehaus gibt zudem alles und besudelt sich mit mehr Flüssigkeiten, als ihm sicherlich lieb war. Aber er schafft es, dass man mit Frank gehörig mitfiebert. Die Geschichte schlägt dann sogar noch ein, zwei Haken. Hier merkt man dann im letzten Drittel, dass die Laufzeit hier und da gestreckt werden soll. Allerdings schafft der Film immer wieder ein gute Pointe zu finden, sodass man ihm kleinere Schnitzer großzügig verzeiht.

Simpel, schmutzig und ganz großer Spaß. "Ach du Scheiße!" ist ein echter Überraschungshit und macht in seiner Simplizität so viel richtig, obwohl alles nach "Kurzfilm-Stoff!" schreit.

A man, a construction site, a porta-potty - and the shit is up to his neck. "Holy Shit!" is a German dark comedy genre film full of blood, feces and humor. Protagonist Frank is stuck in a porta-potty. His arm impaled, his cell phone lying in the slurry. And he has no idea how he got into this situation, only that a blast is about to take place in the immediate vicinity. And the clock is ticking.

Little by little, the story is piecing itself together. Derived through small details and objects that bring back Frank's memories. And with that, a crazy, absurd, nasty and funny backdrop forms, while you only ever get to see everything from inside the toilet. Despite the silly sounding premise, the film is extremely high quality directed, produced and shot. The effort seems almost excessive. Lead actor Thomas Niehaus also gives it his all and sullies himself with more fluids than I'm sure he would have liked. But he manages to make you root for Frank. The story even hits one or two snags. Here you notice in the last third that the running time should be stretched here and there. However, the film always manages to find a good punchline, so that one forgives it generously for minor blunders.

Simple, dirty and great fun. "Holy shit!" is a real surprise hit and does so much right in its simplicity, even though everything screams "short film material!".
