What!? A beautiful film about life and death. And some more life. But mainly death. And immortality. And oh yeah did I say it deals with life and death.
Hugh Jackman is powerful in this film. And the score is beautifully crafted.
You may not get it at first, but look it up afterwords and then think about it for like a week. And then you will fully appreciate how wonderful this film is.

For a film that I've wanted to see for a long time, it sort of disappointed me. A lot of style, but little supstance.
Kirsten Dunst is great in the first half of the movie, which is all about her. Her sisters character played by Charlotte Gainsbourg is the worst. Kiefer is fine and everyone else is average. The direction is cool, a lot of shake in the camera work, and at times it feels like a home movie, when…
