Andrew’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Haunting of Bly Manor sets out to explore human emotions ranging from guilt, love, and betrayal with the background of a haunted house. The story is initially captivating but goes off the rails almost immediately after the second episode. It's is then filled with sappy, poorly written, never-ending monologues, characters and scenes endlessly repeating themselves, and levels of filler that made me realize the show could have been 2 or 3 hours at most. The shots also looked cheap. Every scene that wasn't a character close up somehow looked like sterile CGI, especially when it came to the manor, the well scene, or the UPS truck scene. There are some enjoyable moments overall, but the show is a disappointment after having watched the first season, and simply just a disappointment overall.
