Elliott Gould could strike a match on air. This is the west coast noir I have been waiting for. Thank you Altman.

When the hell did I give this 4 & 1/2 stars, and why? Are my Patron days numbered? Should you unfollow me? Is there a wormhole nearby I can use to fix this mistake?

Just when you think this movie has nowhere left to go, it speaks to the heart at full volume. Nolan has this way of telling colossal stories through very candid frames, allowing the enormity of a moment speak for itself. Still my favorite of his several viewings later.

Unintentionally profound double feature with Signs. The movies are back.

If I had any coherent deep thought or observation about this film, it’s in its simplest of truths: the craters that loss leaves behind are ultimately what shape the surface of our little worlds β€” try as we might to refill them.
