    I love and hate this movie.

    Most of the monster scenes are at the pinnacle of CGI, each monster moves with a certain heft and weight you feel every action. Not to be outdone, the CGI environments were also equally as impressive. The hollow earth was nothing but spectacular.

    The human interaction is completely garbage. Acting was cheesy, dialogue was stale. It only served as a bad palette cleanser till the next monster bash.

    All in all, I'd recommend it…

    Demon slayer is known for its fluid animation and detailed sound design. The film takes this up a whole notch, you can feel each cut and hear every sound effect from the sparks on a blade to the dirt shifting beneath sandals.

    The plot however, is a little lackluster. It doesn't do much to drive the overall storyline. With that said, it's not completely underwhelming. There's slivers of character development through the thick layer of mediocrity.

    I started the movie with a genuine curiosity. The world and it's scenes were captivating. It was simple enough to convey environment of science friction that also felt quite close to reality.

    The colors of each location were beautiful. Mars was red and orange, it had an atmosphere of perspiration and sand. While Neptune had it scenes painted with a beautiful neon blue, every was either cold or uninviting.
