Not only the worthiest sequel to the Arnie classic that spawned a franchise, but perhaps even the best Predator movie even including the original. It is so competently and gorgeously well made, with as many beautifully shot locations as gruesome kills and some superbly staged action sequences that really lend an air of believability to the idea of this teenage huntress holding her own against an elite extra-terrestrial killer. It is stylish, tense and is wholly deserving of a big screen release despite its unfortunate streaming exclusivity.

Trust Shin'ya Tsukamoto to make boxing movie like no other made, a frenetic and gonzo horror loaded with relentless, gory violence and his trademark demented aesthetic style.

Every word in this film is so immaculate, brimming with sharp insight and emotional resonance, while Jason Segel delivers a career best with his stunning performance as author David Foster Wallace.
