Angelica Jade’s 2020 Noirvember Extravaganza

I’ve written a lot about noir over the years. All the way back in 2015, my first essay for Vulture was about the genre and its evolution into an atrophied version of itself in the modern day. It is, alongside sci-fi and women's pictures, my favorite genre. For this Noirvember, I wanted to create a list that was fun and wide ranging – from beloved classics to off-the-beaten path flicks. This list is both for neophytes and seasoned noir lovers. I hope y'all enjoy.
