Watched this while driving home to see my godmother. Too bad it's Obama's production company.

This was done well in that you are following along with honest conversations and getting to see the struggles of the workers.

My main concern was what this was trying to do and the view of China. The Chinese factory workers were doing 12-hour days on the other side of the world away from their families, yet the summary if this documentary from a Google search says, "high-tech China clashes with working class America."

    (Unions are good.)

Now that I've seen this film for the 5th time, I feel like I can finally say some critiques.

(I watched this in theaters in Korea with my mom originally.)

I suppose the movie is ultimately about getting over heartbreak and finding yourself again. It is also a story about the power of female friendship, homoerotic tension, "NYC culture," why turtlenecks must be styled accordingly, and the color pink.

What a fun movie! The costumes were fantastic, there were…

Suspiria (2018) on an acid trip. Loved the beginning dance sequence! Summed up, its a dance party on acid. (An after-party with laced sangria.)

Apparently a lot of this was done on the spot and many of the actors had never acted before. I think it works in the movie's favor. A lot of interesting cinematography choices as well - from very long takes to "chasing" the characters to having the last part filmed completely upside-down.

    How did they make…
