This is a slow burn movie - but well worth it. This is based on the book by Dan Wells.
This movie is currently only available on VOD. I have listened to numerous podcasts review this movie and all recommend it. And so do i.
John Cleaver is an awkward high school student working at the family funeral home. We learn that he has an interest in serial killers because he matches all the precursors of being one. He is seeing a therapist for his sociopathy.
There have been bodies turning up in their small town. Each with a different bit missing. A kidney here, an arm there.
John begins obsessing over this. Trying to figure out the killer's M.O.
This leads him to a conclusion he was not expecting.
