Rembrandt Q Pumpernickel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gorgeously filmed and Holly Hunter is incredible but ultimately feels a little too thin for me: everything the film has to say is right there on the surface. There's little for me to extrapolate from it that's not pretty much easily accessible if you watch it.
That's not much of a review, but I'm on vacation, and I think if you want to watch it, you just should. For my money though, An Angel at Her Table, despite its length, is a more engaging film and a more dense and fascinating one.
