    Unfortunately overshadowed by Se7en, Copycat is a top-rate 90s crime thriller in which Sigourney Weaver, Holly Hunter, and Dermot Mulroney have to deal with a serial killer who bases his killings on famous murderers.

    Se7en has the better villain and better climax, but that isn't saying much. Copycat deserves it's time in the spotlight. It deserves to have a larger fanbase.

    The Hurt Locker stands out from other war films due to the fact that the main characters aren't soldiers on the front lines, but part of the bomb squad. While they may see less day to day action, their job is no less stressful - maybe even less so, knowing that any bomb they deal with could blow up at any time.

    I went in with high hopes, and the film somehow slightly exceeded them. A film that could have been horrible ends up as one of the best CBMs this year.

    Everyone and their mom have been praising the visuals, so I won't spend too much time doing that. I'll just say they're amazing, and this may be the only film where I can literally describe an action scene as "kaleidoscopic".
