Truly a teen version of 50 shades of grey - minus all the bdsm stuff. I dislike how they have portrayed Hardin. In the books he is very abusive but in the movies it makes him seem like a bad boy who is mysterious which is not the case with him. They choose its cast well. All the actors are pretty. The soundtrack is on point. I am just not happy about the way the story is built to make Hardin not seem as bad as he actually is until he seeks help. The end of the movie was perfectly made to create a cliffhanger for a sequel that we all know it is coming up soon.
