Blind Flight ★★★★

"John McCarthy and Brian Keenan were held hostage in Lebanon for more than 4 years. this film is an account of the time they spent held as captives together. Some of the humiliations, violence and fear they must have experienced is shown in the film, together with the way that they managed to cope with their ordeal, but I'm not sure that the film portrayed the squalor and horror in quite the same way that is possible with the written word. Their written accounts convey their experiences better than film can"
