  SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE. I CRIED AND LAUGHED AND CRIED AND LAUGHED AND SOBBED. I AM WRECKED. GIVE FROZEN AN OSCAR.

  
  I hate to say it. I do. But I hated Kristoff in the first film and now, I stan. We stan a man who is okay with being a supporting character.

  The most transformative aspect of this film was being able to watch it at the Academy, in a room full of Academy members (one of the most American thing about cinema, if you will), and seeing every single person being captivated by a KOREAN FILM WITH SUBTITLES. It brought me back to when I was a teenage girl watching my Japanese, Korean, and Chinese films that Americans haven’t even heard of — except this time, they are listening and responding. It is so validating to see that good films are universal, despite language barriers, ethnicity of the cast, or country of origin.
