I've watched this movie repeatedly and it just got better with the second viewing. From the score to the script to the cast, this movie is a vision of perfection.
Telling the story of a newspaper team within the Boston Globe that exposes the hidden scandals of child rape within the Catholic Church, the script and direction of the plot never loses focus of this main goal. The actors portray their respected characters with poise, grace and a deep understanding of what this event in journalism history means to both the survivors of these heinous acts and the reporters who exposed the truth once and for all.
I can't not love this film and all that it stands for. Being interested in journalism since I was a child, this movie proves to me how powerful and inspiring the power of the press truly is within society. I would recommend this film to anyone and I mean anyone.
Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.
